Coming summer of 2026…
We are introducing the first ever volunteer program to cross South America by boat!
In a route formalized by our CEO Sam Bolton, we will start working with kids and young adults in 2 parts of Ecuador, then cross the Amazon to Manaus, Brazil, were we will fly to Rio de Janeiro and work with 2 Favela based martial arts organizations.
This program will be 3 optional parts:
The first 3 weeks will be in Ecuador working with our partner International Volunteer Ecuador in El Murco as well as TOLKCUM in the north of Quito. Here we will be focused on teaching and videography to help express and amplify the stories of these nonprofits and their communities.
The second 3 weeks is an extreme backpacking adventure through the Amazon from Ecuador to Brazil. This will be accompanied by a professional Spanish teacher throughout.
The final 3 weeks will be spent working with our partners in Favelas of Rio de Janeiro.
